Your guests walk in under the palms, a cold drink in hand, the sea opening up in front of them. The first goosebumps happen here.

Vows in the garden pavilion, flowers moving in the breeze, the Atlantic as your witness. Symbolic or civil — we arrange both.

Cocktails by the pool
Champagne, fresh oysters and live acoustic music while the light softens over the water and your guests find each other.

Golden hour
Twenty minutes for the two of you and your photographer. The light here does the rest — this is where the pictures on your wall come from.

Dinner
Long tables beside the pool, a menu created with our chef, wines from Portugal's finest regions. Speeches, laughter, a few tears.

First dance & party
The lights come up, the band or DJ takes over and the garden becomes a dance floor under the palms. Until late.

We recommend places to stay in Burgau and Lagos for every budget, coordinate guest transfers and can host a welcome dinner the night before or a slow brunch the morning after.

Good to know.
How many guests can NOVA host?
Up to 250 guests for a seated ceremony and up to 220 for a seated dinner. For larger standing receptions, ask us — we regularly host events for up to 500.
Can we have a legal ceremony at NOVA?
Yes. Civil ceremonies can take place at the venue with a Portuguese registrar, subject to their availability. Many international couples marry legally at home and celebrate a symbolic ceremony with us — we help with both.
When should we book?
For Saturdays from May to September we recommend 12 to 18 months in advance. Weekdays and the shoulder months offer more flexibility — and beautiful light.
What happens if it rains?
A covered alternative is always reserved for your wedding. In the Algarve it is rarely needed, but you will never have to worry about it.
Can we bring our own suppliers?
Of course. Food and drinks are prepared by our own kitchen and bar team; for flowers, photography, music and styling you can bring your favourites or choose from our trusted partners.
